| CREATIVE CREAM AND A CAR BOOTERS DREAM: BROADWAY PLAZA'S URBAN CAR BOOT | |
A collaboration of Birmingham’s local creative talents and car boot fanatics will be attending the second Urban Car Boot at Broadway Plaza this weekend.
The event takes place on Saturday 21st January in the indoor APCOA car park between 9am and 1pm, and will raise money for Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
It will feature the cream of Birmingham’s creative crop with shoppers being treated to an amazing array of handmade crafts, including jewellery, art pieces and beauty products.
The event also provides the perfect opportunity to sell any of those unwanted Christmas presents and put pay to that overflowing attic space. Urban Car Booters will also get the chance to grab some exclusive deals provided by the Broadway Plaza such as 2 for 1 cinema tickets.
Arthur Webb, Centre Manager at Broadway Plaza, said: “Following the success of the Urban Car Boot in November, where we raised £550 for charity, we are very excited to be holding another event. By mixing vintage items and craft this is not your average car boot so we’re hoping it will appeal to a wider range of people and most importantly, help us raise money for a great local charity.”
So to redeem yourself after Christmas extravagance as well as to ease the New Year pinch, book a car booting plot now. The cost is £10 with £9 being donated directly to the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
