Birmingham Suit Amnesty - the day itself!

The first ever Birmingham Suit Amnesty successfully took place on Friday 12th October 2007.

37 organisations from acrossd the city took part, including Mills & Reeve, Wragge & Co, Barclays Wealth, Deloittes and many more. All in all 723 suits were collected throughout the day in Hall 6 at the ICC in Birmingham.

Throughout the day a number of charities visited the ICC to lay claim to their chosen suits including St Basils, WAITS and Turning Point.

From 07.30 - 17.00 volunteers from Mail Wash travelled around the city collecting suits from the various companies before dropping them off at the ICC where a group of merry helpers sorted, tagged and racked the suits.

Mailwash cleaned over 1000 suits and distributed them to many charities and individuals that need these suits.

This year we hope it to be even bigger and better to see how you can support us this year please visit
