Broadway Plaza’s award-winning car park has made its TV debut! The facility was chosen as the venue to road test a car by top Channel 5 motoring programme Fifth Gear.
Producers of the programme have heaped praise on the APCOA car park and say they hope to use the location for future filming.
“We were testing the Hyundai I20 and wanted to show its nimbleness by showing it in a car park situation,” said Fifth Gear assistant producer Nicholas Deacon.
“The Broadway Plaza car park was perfect because it was so well lit and colourful. Many viewers have commented on the impressive appearance of the car park.”
Car Park manager Vineet Bhalla said he was delighted to have helped Fifth Gear
“It’s great that the car park has appeared on national TV,” he said.
“It’s a fantastic facility that deserves the recognition. We would love Fifth Gear to come back and film again.”
The Broadway Plaza car park is safe, secure and manned 24 hours. It was recently re-awarded the Park Mark award, recognising its commitment to providing a safe and secure environment.
